Raw food diets don’t have to be boring and bland. They aren’t all about raw carrots or celery either. I have found some pretty unique facts that I would like to share with you!

Seaweed is a great replacement for salt. Not only does this salt alternative give you many great nutrients, it also ads a unique flavor to some great dishes!

There’s a new smoothie drink out called “naked” that tastes amazing. Juicing is a great way to get your lunch or breakfast fill and you can have a different blend almost everyday to keep your taste buds guessing!

People who live there life by raw food like the saying “raw food is live food”. This is because when food is cooked at high temperatures, especially in the microwave, kill the living enzymes in the food. One reason why salads are so good for you are not just because they are fibrous, but because they have tons of living enzymes!

Not all raw food diets have to be 100% raw food! It is suggested that if you are going to swap to a raw food diet, you can do 3/4 of your diet raw food instead of 100%!

Raw foodies usually give up processed drinks such as soda, but you don’t have to give up all flavor! You can swap some of your flavored everyday drinks for coconut water! Sobe life has a new drink made from coconut water with stevia that tastes AMAZING!

If you love chocolate you can still have some amazing chocolate cakes made out of all raw foods! These cakes can taste just as good or even better than “traditional” baked cakes! I have a recipe posted earlier for a delicious chocolate torte, so check it out!
