Almost automatically when people think about raw food they think about just carrots and celery sticks. People think about bland and boring food instead of flavor explosions! Some of my favorite food is raw food. It is so flavorful and full of great textures! I stumbled upon a new recipe that seems amazing and I will have to try it for dinner. Just from the ingredients used in it you can already tell that it will be full of flavor and be amazing!

Here are the ingredients:

  • 2 cups thinly sliced kale
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • juice of one lime
  • 1 tablespoon cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup diced red ball pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chopped scallions
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle pepper
  • 2 avocados

You can find the instructions here. I personally love kale, and even kale chips. Kale has a rich deep flavor that is unmistakeable. Kale is very fibrous and some people don’t like it “raw” but the instructions give you a great way to fix that dilemma. It’s actually a fix that I never knew about and is pretty awesome!

With the garlic, cilantro and scallions is definite to have a great flavor and the pineapple and lime will give it an awesome tropical mix to it as well!  I hope you try it with me!
